I figured for this week’s photo challenge I’d post the pictures I took the day before (it was less than 24 hours before so it counts!). I didn’t edit this one past brightening it. I think it turned out kind of weird, like I took a picture of a picture, or scanned it. I think I accidentally had my camera on low-res. 🙁 I was also about 10 feet away from this tree. haha Same tree…lol Still the same […]
This week’s photo challenge from WordPress was “abundance“, and all week I’ve been thinking about what I would use to represent abundance. I didn’t want to just take a picture of an “abundance” of produce or something else. Then tonight a fragment of John 10:10 popped into my head: I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. And I had my picture!
This week’s photo challenge: Refuge. The first thing that came to mind is represented in the last picture. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty…..and under his wings you will find refuge. Psalm 91 Refuge in the love of God (in the shadow of his wings). I take refuge in my husband’s arms. ♥
I suppose everyone thinks of a cat when it comes to curiosity…so mine are a bit different. One of the “curiosities” in our garage window shelf. (Not ours, unfortunately!) Probably my favorite one out of the bunch. Another…this is actually only part of one, it’s a fancy boat that says “Venezuela” on it. I love this one, too. This little “curiosity” is a china windmill. And curiosity peeking around the corner.
The Daily Post for 2011 has something I’m a bit more interested in: a photo a week challenge, on their topic of choice. The first one is Boundaries. This is an obvious boundary. My computer has always been a sort of boundary for me, something I didn’t have to share. My wedding ring is sort of a boundary as well…demonstrating I am bound to my husband.
