Hello, to anyone who still reads this! This is probably going to be just a rambly, update-y type post. Everyone else is all like posting great articles and I’m like I wish I could! I’ve been so focused on school school school that I feel too guilty to do anything else, even if I’m not doing school. So, school…I’m taking some online classes to become a Medical Administrative Assistant, which is a fancy term for “office-person at a doctor’s office”. My plans are that after I finish these courses and get a stable job in a doctor’s office (I figured doctors are one commodity that will probably not go away anytime soon!), then after a few years (like when Ari starts going to school) I’ll be able to go to cosmetology school. Meanwhile, I’m doing photography on the side and getting better so I can get to where I want to be…which I’m not posting publicly anywhere, just in case someone I know (who who copies some of my ideas about photography/pricing/etc and has placed herself as my direct competition…crazy, I know!) happens upon this and decides to do it first. Lol

Work…I’m basically out of a job right now. Our car got repossessed and the studio I was in (meaning, the studio I was moved to since they moved back to regular instead of holiday hours) closed. I’ve applied at a few more places, but especially right now when we don’t have a car, I’m not sure it’s much use. :-/ I’ve been focusing on school now that I have more time for it. Scottie works nights, so he sleeps half the day and the other half is when I do my school (my computer is in the bedroom). BUT…since I qualified for more student loan money than my courses needed, I’M GETTING A LAPTOP AND A TABLET!!!!!!! I’m sooooo excited!!! I decided I’m actually going to get the tablet (a Microsoft Surface) first, and when I get the rest of the money (in March or April), I’ll get the laptop. I’ll be able to do my school on the tablet anyway. I still want the laptop though for photo editing and stuff, after school is over. I’m getting the tablet TOMORROW!!! That’s when my check will be in the bank. I’m so excited! (I know I said that before, but hey I’m excited!)

We were finally able to move to a new apartment…it’s smaller, which sucks, but at least we can afford it now! Funny thing, it happens to be right across the street from our old apartment complex!

Did I mention I’m getting a tablet tomorrow???

Ari’s at Grandma’s now and I LOVE the time alone, but I’m so used to not being able to do anything while watching her that I have no idea what to do with myself now! (Plus all of my crafty stuff is packed!) Maybe I should go clean up stuff and unpack LOL!
