♥ Ariadne Grace ♥
I’m so late. I also haven’t had the use of both of my hands most of the time I’ve been at my computer lately. This is going to be a short update, and I’ll have the full story later on, but for the people who haven’t seen…Ari was born December 4th!!!
The short version: I ended up testing positive for pre-eclampsia so they induced, and when that didn’t work (two and a half days on pitocin and nothing happened…seriously…), she was born (with a full head of hair!) at 1:06 am on December 4th by cesarean, weighing 5lb .8oz and measuring 18″.
She is really tiny!
We are pretty sleep-deprived, but she’s doing great!
Hopefully I can get the rest of the story typed up soon…it’s way too much to only type with one hand, and mostly when I’m at my computer nowadays I’m feeding her or holding her so I’ve only got one hand!

Do you remember me? I haven’t been around much, but I had not forgotten you. I had been thinking about your pregnancy and how that was going for you. Your daughter is so precious and very tiny. I am glad that you are doing okay, even though you are sleep deprived (smiles).
I remember you! Glad to hear from you! I hope you are well! Thanks!
Congratulations!! Wow, she is tiny but oh so adorable, cute and precious!!
I hope she is doing well and you too!
She is doing great ^_^ Dr’s appt today; she’s 6.35 lb and 19″. ^_^ And thanks!!
My twin sisters were 5lb 10oz and 4lb 10oz. All my mom’s babies were small tho; I was her second biggest girl and I was 5lb 14oz!
She’s so beautiful! Congratulations!
Thanks!! ^_^
Awwwww, I wouldn’t want to put her down either! Congratulations!
Thanks!!
Oh, she is just absolutely adorable and I cannot blame you for not wanting to put her down. Although, we do need new pictures.
Thanks!! ^_^ New pictures? Or just more?
Ooooh, I just love the name Ariadne! Agatha Christie? Any friend of Hercule Poirot’s is a friend of mine!
Actually no…we got it from #1 Inception (Ariadne is played by Ellen Page who is one of our favorite actresses), #2 a song by one of our favorite bands, Cruxshadows, that was referring to the Greek myth. The way we pronounce it I guess is the traditional Greek way, not the Americanized. I hope you’re still my friend.
LOL!
*laughing* I feel old! But great names and beautiful baby daughters are timeless.
Thanks! ^_^
This is late, but she makes me go, “Awwww!”
Way too beautiful…great genes! She is, indeed, tiny. Amongst my siblings, my brother was the smallest at 7 lbs. 2 oz. 0_0
