Condemnation. That’s why I was afraid of the Bible. Irrationally, probably, because I know what my dad says the Bible means (his interpretation of it) isn’t 100% true; but that’s why I haven’t been reading my Bible…I’ve been afraid that after my parents and brother condemned me, the Bible would as well. Instead, when I sat down today to read my pretty new NIV Life Application Bible my Grammoo got me for my birthday (that’s what it looks like), I […]

This is misleading, because #1 he doesn’t wait for me as the son’s father did…he doesn’t anticipate my return. (Rightly […]
A tongue-in-cheek poke at the courtship/betrothal people…and also the people who confuse history with commandments. I didn’t write it but it is hilarious so I just had to repost it! How to Find A Wife…Biblically! Find an attractive prisoner of war, bring her home, shave her head, trim her nails, and give her new clothes. Then she’s yours. (Deuteronomy 21:11-13) Find a prostitute and marry her. (Hosea 1:1-3) Find a man with seven daughters, and impress him by watering his flock. […]
